Oops. A day late!
Random lunch shots. I’ve been trying to remember to take a pic of lunch and post it to this group on fb that my mom hosts. She’s a Beachbody coach and…as awkward as it sometimes is to converse with your parents on FB, I’m trying to be a supportive daughter. Hehehhe. :)
Want to kill your plant? Send it to me! This is my sad bonsai tree, which I consistently forget to water. :( I need to order some fertilizer stat. Hoping that will bring it back to its former green-leaved self.
Grand Central Station - my office stomping grounds - always has some displays or presos up. Financial Times had an interactive graphic wall up last week that I played around with. :)
On my walk home. The waterfall walkway at Rockefeller, TKTS booth in Times Square and the subway. I can’t believe it’s been 6 months. :)
Best. Musical. EVERRR. Okay. Granted, outside of this, I’ve only seen Rated P and Lion King (in Hawaii). Hehehe. But this was epic! If you’re planning to come to NYC anytime in the next year, but your tickets NOW. I think they’re already sold out until the end of the year!
Starbucks in Times Square. I love how everything in Times Square has some kind of gimmick. Like how Toys R’Us has a huge Ferris Wheel! :D We didn’t even order coffee, just walked in and took a pic. Hehehehe.
Happy Tuesday <3!

Week in Photos (3/19 - 3/25)
The weather earlier in the week made me giddy. Seriously, giddy. Leaving the apartment without a coat = liberating! :D
I’m super excited for this. I know what you’re thinking: it’s a kiddy toy, but it’s going to end up in my kitchen for a project that I’ve been planning. :D Curious? Well, it’s something like…
This! Ahahahaha. :D I have no idea if I’ll be able to pull it off, but…it’ll be fun trying!
The warm weather didn’t stop me from getting sick, racking up a fever, and hating life. On the upside - my fever started on Wednesday night and broke by Thursday night. Go immune system! On the downside - I’m still suffering from side effects (if you could only SEE the things I cough up in the morning *shudder*)
When I got back to work on Friday, I changed my wallpaper. If you’re going to feel like crap, you should take every opportunity to laugh while you’re stuck in the office.
Hehehehe.
Anddddd against my better judgement I had a drink on Saturday. We checked out Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg (HUNGER GAMES!!!!) and it was pretty amazing. Food and booze while you watch the movie! You scribble down what you want on the little paper sheets and leave it in the holder. The servers come around throughout the movie. A little distracting, but still awesome.
No pics from Sunday. It was a mashup of domestic chores and the internet. Setting my mom up with a blog is probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever done…but hearing her refer to the internet as the “world wide web” made it all worth while. :)
Happy Monday!
Happy Pi Day! I got a little carried away last night. :)
Decided to stop and stretch across the pond and away from the tourists. :-)
One Year Later: A day of Reflection in NYC
Japan Society in NYC is hosting a bunch of movies and events for the one year anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami. At 2:46pm, the Consul General of Japan in NY will preside over a moment of silence for all those who lose their lives a year ago.
Screw New York for giving us such wonderful food and then expecting us to be skinny. Thanks for opening a carnival-themed restaurant in the East Village that serves gourmet funnel cake. Let me just eat that and have everyone judge me for 5,000 years.
